Lesley Gibson (PGCE, Bsc (Hons), Dip. Couns. MBACP)

​

Lesley has had a varied career previously working as a Teacher in Further Education teaching  Health and Social Care, a Youth Worker and a long term volunteer Community Panel Member/Parent Mentor with the Leicestershire Youth Offending Team.  

She retrained and qualified as a Person Centred Therapeutic Counsellor in 2020, and has since undertaken additional training in Online and Telephone Counselling, Working with Loss in the Family with the Laura Centre, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) and Diversity and Inclusion training with Purdue University.  Currently Lesley is working towards a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Lesley works as a counsellor in a sixth form college, and undertakes EAP work, as well as working with individual clients.  She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) membership number 00917037
