Victoria Sumner has studied Psychology for over 20 years and completed a BSc in Psychology in 2008, approved by the British Psychological Society. Victoria has continued these studies and completed training and qualifications in Therapeutic Counselling, Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy,

Neuro Linguistic Programming and Mindfulness.

 

She is a BUPA recognised counsellor and also a current graduate member of the British Psychological Society, a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

 

Victoria is available for counselling on a variety of issues including:

Anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, feelings of worthlessness, frightening and worrying thoughts, loss, low self-esteem, relationships, stress, work related issues and has several years experience counselling individuals with a cancer diagnosis.

Victoria also has a specialised interest in neurodiversity (ADHD & Autism Spectrum Disorder) and also LGBTQIA+ matters including sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and transitioning. 

​

Counselling is available for individuals, couples and families on both a short and long term basis, depending on your individual requirements and preferences.

​

She has also a VTCT qualified massage therapist offering reflexology, full body massage, head massage and facial services, and has also completed training and qualifications in nutrition, weight management and life coaching.

Collaborations

Victoria has recently collaborated with SCOPE and Mindful Monsters, which aims

to bring mindfulness to children in a fun and accessible way.

​

During the COVID-10 pandemic, Victoria worked with the team at Mindful Monsters

to create 12 new and exciting activity cards specifically designed to encourage

mindfulness during lockdown.

​

In 2021, Victoria was also invited to write a blog for the Mindful Monsters website

on the Magic of Mindfulness.
